S & R Packing & Crating was founded in 1986 by Steve Thompson. He worked in the export packing field for ten years before starting his own firm. S & R was located on the State Port in Wilmington for 20 years before moving to its current location two miles south of the port. S& R Packing now offers in addition to its complete export packing services, warehousing, cargo marshalling and cargo distribution.
